| OUR ONION SELECTION |
| Sirocco |
This high land variety produces a deep crimson red globe bulb of 110 to 120 g. Close to the Red Creole type, sirocco is better than the former because of its early yields and its adaptability to high altitude areas with a tolerance to pink root and thrips diseases. Its average output is 45 to 55 t/ha. |
| Julio |
Julio, which is the best in terms of storage, can stand very poor seasonal conditions. This blood red variety was selected for its flexibility in use which enables the production of beautiful bulbs of 120 g. Its capacity to stand these very poor seasonal conditions makes it the best variety for African producers especially in high altitude and heavy rainfall areas.

| Rouge de tana |
Selected from among African local ecotypes, this low altitude variety does well in sub-Saharan dry season farming, with early yields of purple flat thick bulbs of exceptional preservation capacity (8 months under ventilated shelter). Its refined taste is reason for its local demand. It is selected for its size and shape with an output of 44 to 55 t/ha. |
